Last night I caught up on the most recent two episodes of Louie S5.  This show is getting more philosophical and considerably darker. Honestly, EP3, “Cop Story” frightened me. I did not know how the half hour would end + it was so real, disturbing that actually felt nauseous watching it.

I saw a  profound departure from previous Seasons.  The trend,  towards dramatic storylines –more narrative versus longer stand-up with shorter, mildly integrated vignettes –was evident as we reached S4 and did somewhat prepared me for this evolution. However, I did not expect such heavy themes which continued with EP4, “Bobby’s House” most notable being the exploration of physical abuse by women.

What do you think?
